Mindfulness with Ann Reilly
A growing body of scientific research shows that mindfulness has positive effects on mental health and well-being. Practicing mindfulness has been proven to help children learn to focus, manage stress, regulate emotions, feel compassion and empathy and develop a positive outlook.
With this in mind, we have invited Ann Reilly to our school to practice mindfulness/yoga with our students. Ann will take all classes for mindfulness/yoga sessions in the school hall every Tuesday for the next 6 weeks (until October 24th). This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce the children to the concept of mindfulness and many of the children will no doubt benefit from the experience.
