National Science Week 2016
Numerous activities took place in our school to mark National Science Week 2016. We built bridges, created a volcanic eruption, experimented with air pressure, learned all about solids, liquids and gases, and even made Rice Krispie buns! Keep an eye out for our blogs next week (in Classroom News) describing all our endeavours.
6th class were invited to participate in science activities in St. Mogue's Secondary School, Bawnboy, as part of National Science Week. A thoroughly enjoyable and interesting day was had by all. Some of the activities included: making whistles, keyrings and straw towers; experimenting with a sheep's heart and lamb's lungs; and working with water colours and pastels.
